On the backplane it draws 35 mA max at 24 VDC, typical load 0.7 W. That leaves plenty of headroom on a standard ET 200SP power budget even in a dense configuration. Isolation is tested at 707 V DC type test. For RS485 networks, it handles up to 32 slaves at speeds up to 115.2 kbit/s. The buffer memory stores 4 kbyte of telegrams. Address range is 1–247, with extended addressing to 65535. Parity and stop bits are fully configurable (7 or 8 bits, 1 or 2 stop bits, any parity).
