Digital output slice for ET 200S
The Siemens 6ES7138-4FB00-0AB0 is a four-channel digital output module for the ET 200S distributed I/O system, rated at 2 A per channel and delivering SIL 3 and Cat. 4 in safety applications. Operated from 24 V DC, the module draws 100 mA from the load supply typical and 28 mA from the backplane bus, with a total power loss of 3.5 W. Safety and diagnostics
Rated to SIL 3 and Cat. 4, and carries AK 6, making it appropriate for fail-safe output circuits in machine safety. Wire-break detection on each channel monitors the load circuit; a group error LED (SF, red) lights on fault, and the module reports diagnostic data to the controller. Switching frequency depends on load type: 30 Hz resistive, 10 Hz lamp, 0.1 Hz inductive. The per-channel rated current of 2 A applies across the module total of 6 A maximum.
