The 6ES7138-7FD00-0AB0: It fits a single 30 mm-wide slice on the DIN rail, draws up to 510 mA from the internal Powerbus, and delivers four transistor outputs with full diagnostic coverage. Diagnostic alarm is parameterizable; the group error LED and per-channel status indicators give you immediate feedback. Wire-break detection (270 Ω to 18 kΩ threshold) and short-circuit protection are built in, so you can locate faults without chasing wires. Rated SIL 3, with isolation tested at 370 V for 1 min between channels and the backplane bus. Cable runs up to 500 m shielded or unshielded.
