The Siemens 6ES7141-1BF00-0AB0 is an ET 200S PROFIBUS DP slave module packing 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, rated for 24 V DC and communicating at 12 Mbit/s on the PROFIBUS bus. The 8 inputs accept sensors with signal thresholds of -3 to +5 V and 13 to 30 V; the 8 outputs deliver up to 1 A per channel and 8 A total.
Integration Notes
A single 24 V DC supply powers the module; the digital outputs have short-circuit protection and diagnostic alarm capability, with a readable diagnostic information buffer accessible over PROFIBUS DP. Expansion: up to 7 additional ET 200S modules (max 6 with pneumatic interfaces) can follow on the same rail. The module draws 180 mA from the backplane 5 V DC bus. Isolation between circuits is 75 V DC / 60 V AC; no channel-to-channel isolation, so group the commons accordingly. Unshielded cable runs to the sensors can extend to 30 m; SYNC and FREEZE capabilities are present for homogeneous bus cycles.
