What this module is
The Siemens 6ES7141-1BF40-0XB0 is the EM141 extended module for the ET 200X distributed I/O system, delivering 8 digital inputs rated at 24 V DC with M12 5-pole connectors. It accepts signal '1' from 13 to 30 V and signal '0' from -3 to +5 V, and the input delay is parameterizable to 0.5, 3, 15, or 20 ms via the backplane bus. Each input supports per-channel diagnostics: wire-break and short-circuit detection, along with a parameterizable hardware interrupt and diagnostic alarm. The module draws 30 mA from the 5 V DC backplane bus and dissipates 1.5 W.
Connection and integration notes
Permissible quiescent current is 1.5 mA; inputs are not potential-separated from the backplane. Maximum unshielded cable length is 30 m.
