Fit and wiring
The 6ES7144-1FB31-0XB0: The module body measures 55 mm deep by 87 mm wide (the DIN-rail footprint is 60 mm) by 110 mm tall. That 60 mm module width means it takes up one standard slot on the ET 200S rail — same as any other 60 mm-wide electronic module in the family.
Power budget and temperature
The module draws 40 mA from the supply voltage L+ for its internal electronics, plus the current draw for the analog output stages. Power dissipation is 0.9 W typical. Current consumption from the backplane bus derates with ambient temperature: 0.9 A up to 40 °C, 0.7 A up to 55 °C. If you're packing a dense row of ET 200S modules in a warm cabinet, that derating curve matters for the bus power supply sizing.
