Field-fit note
The 6ES7146-6FF00-4AB0: This bundle saves you from piecing together a safety I/O station in the field. Everything needed for a Category 3 stop function is in the box — the M12 connector on the E-stop leads straight into the Y cable, the switches are pre-cabled. No shop, no crane — bolt the bracket, connect PROFINET, and let the safety CPU validate the wiring. The Y cable splits the 24V supply and the PROFINET bus onto separate drops, so you don't need a distributor or T-piece inside the enclosure. If you blow an output channel, the F-DQ is field-replaceable as a pod; you don't scrap the whole head.
