The 6ES7147-1AA11-0XB0 is an SFB-type communication module for Siemens PLC systems, supporting MPI (Multi-Point Interface) via a coexistent integrated RS 485 interface. Input and output process data are configured at 244 bytes each, and the module is isolated to prevent ground loops. The onboard memory integrates 64 kbyte (21 K instructions), while retentive data requires a restart after every power cycle — not preserved automatically.
