The Siemens 6ES7147-2AB01-0XB0 is a DP/DP Coupler (Type SFB) for PROFIBUS networks with MPI support. The coupler handles 244 bytes of input and 244 bytes of output data (process image), and is equipped with an RS-485 interface. It provides electrical isolation between the two bus segments. Additional capabilities include equidistance, SYNC/FREEZE broadcasting, and routing with the interface active.
The module measures 90 mm deep, 175 mm wide, and 110 mm tall. Check clearance for the depth, especially in shallow enclosures or when mounted with front wiring ducts.
