The Siemens 6ES7148-1EH11-0XA0 is a pneumatic interface module — a spare part for the SIMATIC DP EM 148-P that sits on an ET 200X station and controls up to 8 valve disks (16 valve functions) through 16 digital outputs. It is designed specifically to couple with a Festo CPV-14 valve terminal, so the BOM line is locked to that mating half — no generic pneumatic manifold substitution without changing the terminal block.
Pressure and flow envelope
The permissible working pressure range is 3 bar minimum to 8 bar maximum, with a rated flow of 800 l/min on compressed air filtered to 40 µm — oiled (VG 32) or unoiled/vacuum service is acceptable. Each valve draws up to 32 mA; the total load from the 2L+ supply, including valves, is 520 mA max, with an additional 45 mA drawn from the 5 V DC backplane bus.
Isolation and power budget
Channel-to-channel isolation is provided in groups of 16, and an optocoupler isolates the channels from the backplane bus — this keeps field-side transients off the DP network.
