The Siemens 6ES7148-6JA00-0AB0 is an ET 200SP IO-Link master that puts four M12 ports on PROFINET. It handles IO-Link devices (DI and DQ) and brings diagnostics, MRP ring redundancy, and LLDP into the same slice. Rated for 24 V DC, pulling about 8 W typical. If you're wiring a line with IO-Link sensors or actuators and need a compact distributed slave, this is the part.
What the ratings mean for your panel
It packs a group error LED (SF/MT), diagnostic alarm, and supports autocrossing and short-circuit detection on the M12 ports. The integrated switch handles four ports with full autonegotiation. If you need PROFINET CBA or EtherNet/IP, this module doesn't do those – it's pure PROFINET IO.
