What the ratings mean for your BOM

The 128-byte data volume per direction is the maximum I/O data you can exchange per telegram; if your remote rack needs more, you'll need a higher-end IM or split the station. The 63-module count is the absolute ceiling for connected modules, including power modules; don't exceed it or the bus won't recognize the drop.
