The Siemens 6ES7151-1CA00-1BL0 is a spare part for the ET 200S compact station, providing 32 digital inputs at 24 V DC with a typical input delay of 3 ms. It communicates over PROFIBUS DP via RS485, and carries 100 bytes each of input and output data. Diagnostics are onboard — group error SF and bus fault BF LEDs, plus a 24 V supply monitor. The module is expandable with up to 12 standard ET 200S modules (no F modules). It draws 3 W typical from the backplane.

Input signal thresholds: a logic '0' sits between -30 and +5 V, logic '1' requires 13 to 30 V DC. Typical input current is 4 mA at 24 V (minimum 2 mA). Input delay from 0 to 1 and 1 to 0 runs 1.2 ms minimum to 4.8 ms maximum, typically 3 ms. Isolation tested at 500 V DC. The module supports direct data exchange (slave-to-slave communication) but not isochronous mode. Mechanical dimensions are 58 mm deep, 120 mm wide, 81 mm high; IP20 protection.
