Siemens 6ES7151-7AA00-0AB0 is an SFB-type module with a single integrated RS 485 interface — no MPI, so plan your network accordingly. It handles 64 bytes of input data and 64 bytes of output data, enough for a medium-sized distributed I/O station. STEP 7 is supported for configuration, and forcing is built in, letting you lock outputs during commissioning without a PLC change. SCL programming is also on the table, which means you can write structured text logic for this module if your application needs it.
Debugging features for on-site work
Single-step execution, software clock, and adjustable timers (1 ms to 6 000 ms) aid on-site debugging. Integrated memory of 24 kbyte holds the user program; max. 8 kbyte per block.
