Panel fit and DP master role
The 6ES7151-7AA11-0AB0 is an IM151-7 CPU module for the ET 200S distributed I/O system, mounting on the standard DIN rail in the interface module slot. Its width is 60 mm for the CPU module itself; the DP master module occupies 35 mm of that envelope. It operates as a Profibus DP master (DPV1) and also supports DP slave operation as a server, but not as a client. The RS-485 interface is isolated, with routing enabled for cross-network communication.
Work memory and instruction capacity
Integrated work memory is 64 kbyte, which the evidence states accommodates approximately 21 K instructions. Maximum user program size is 16 kbyte. The backup time for retentive data is 6 weeks at 40 °C ambient temperature. Input and output address space is 244 byte each, with a maximum of 256 byte for the overall process image. The module supports SYNC/FREEZE for deterministic DP cycle synchronization.
Programming language support
The CPU supports FBD, LAD, STL, and SCL (optional) programming languages under STEP 7. GRAPH is also available as an optional language. Single-step debugging and forcing of variables (inputs, outputs, memory bits, DBs, times, counters) are supported.
