The 6ES7153-2BA02-0XB0: The PROFIBUS DP interface runs at up to 12 Mbit/s (automatic baud rate detection enabled), uses RS-485 transmission, and terminates in a 9-pin Sub-D socket. It supports 1 to 125 node addresses and provides potential separation across the bus.
Time stamping and event capture
The module records timestamps with a resolution of 0.466 ns, applying RFC 1119 time format. It captures up to 15 message buffers, each holding 20 event messages, triggered on rising or falling edges. SYNC and FREEZE bus commands are supported.
Powered via the backplane bus (20.4 to 28.8 V DC input range). The bus holds up stored energy for 5 ms after a mains failure – enough for the CPU to complete a safe shutdown cycle. Configuration is done in STEP 7, COM PROFIBUS, or third-party tools using GSD file SI04801.GSG.
