Time stamp accuracy and firmware context
The 6ES7153-2BA10-0XB0: Time stamp resolution is 0.466 ns with a 1 ms accuracy when up to 8 modules are on the bus; this extends to 10 ms for up to 12 modules. The module supports SYNC, FREEZE, and time stamp on both rising and falling edges. Firmware version V6.0.0 is the current release, compatible with STEP 7, COM PROFIBUS, and third-party tools via the GSD file SI05801E.GSG. Automatic baud rate search is enabled by default.
Mounting and environment
The module dimensions are 125 mm high, 40 mm wide, and 117 mm deep. It is IP20 rated. Horizontal installation allows an ambient range of 0 °C to 60 °C; vertical installation derates the maximum to 40 °C. Isolation is tested at 500 V, and potential separation exists between the bus and backplane.
