PROFIBUS DP interface for ET 200PRO
The Siemens 6ES7154-2AA00-0AB0 is a PROFIBUS DP interface module (IM154-2 High Feature) for the ET 200PRO distributed I/O system. It sits on a 90×130 mm footprint with 59.3 mm depth and handles up to 244 bytes each of input and output data across the bus. Rated for -40 to 70 °C ambient, it carries IP65/67 protection and supports hot swapping of modules — suited for installations in washdown or outdoor zones where the panel is remote or the environment is aggressive. Bus rate goes to 12 Mbit/s with automatic detection. The module delivers diagnostic alarms (parameterizable), hardware interrupts, and features like SYNC, FREEZE, and direct data exchange (slave-to-slave).
Lifecycle and sourcing
Supply is against RFQ; lead time and quantity are confirmed at order placement. The separate connecting module (6ES7194-4A.00-0AA0) is not included and must be ordered alongside.
Power and protection details
Powered from 24 V DC supply, draws max 200 mA from 1L+. Includes reverse polarity protection (against destruction), short-circuit protection via exchangeable fuses, and isolation tested at 500 V DC. Isolation between supply voltage and electronics is provided; between backplane bus and electronics it is not. Bus fault (BF red) and group error (SF red) LEDs are standard.
