Fieldbus interface for ET 200AL nodes
The 6ES7155-6BA00-0CN0: No isochronous mode means it will not support PROFI drive or high-speed synchronized motion loops; reserve this module for general conveyor, palletizer, or material handling cabinet drops. Alarms and diagnostics are built in, with a RUN (green), ERROR (red), and MAINT (yellow) LED stack for quick status at the cabinet door.
Address space per module maxes at 32 bytes input and 32 bytes output; per station it goes to 244 bytes each.
Current production lifecycle — no last-time-buy watch needed. Firmware is locked at V3.1, so a replacement part carries the same feature set.
Mounting and operating environment
Dimensions are 50 mm wide, 117 mm tall, 74 mm deep. Typical DIN-rail mount, though not stated explicitly. Reverse polarity protection on the 24 VDC supply saves a burned module if the installer crosses the wires. Horizontal installation rated 0–60 °C; vertical installation derated to max 50 °C. Isolation tested at 707 V DC between circuits (base isolation). Power draw is 1.5 W typical, with a 4.5 A inrush at power-up. Plan the 24 VDC supply margin for the inrush spike, not the steady-state load.
