ET 200SP Digital Output Slice

The Siemens 6ES7157-0AC82-0XA0 is a digital output module for the ET 200SP distributed I/O system. DQ is enabled—this is a straight on/off slice, no PWM or MSO. Current-sourcing outputs, 24V DC nominal. Firmware V1.0, field-upgradeable. Diagnostics are built-in per module: wire-break detection, short-circuit to M and to L+, group error, and diagnostic alarm. The module reports I&M data up to I&M3. No oversampling or uprating.

Interchangeability with 6ES7522-1BH01-0AB0

The 6ES7157-0AC82-0XA0 and the 6ES7522-1BH01-0AB0 both provide 24V DC digital outputs but are not mechanically interchangeable. The 6ES7157 mounts on a 15 mm BU type A0 base unit; the other module uses a different connector. No adapter exists — a panel wired for the 6ES7522 requires a redesign.
