Field distributor for PROFIBUS PA ring
The Siemens 6ES7157-0AF81-0XA0 mounts in a PROFIBUS PA segment as a ring-redundant active field distributor. Four short-circuit-proof spur outputs feed field devices; automatic bus termination removes the need for external terminating resistors. The IP65 enclosure allows direct installation in washdown zones or outdoor trays.
Integration notes
Each spur output is individually short-circuit proof. Automatic bus termination senses the segment end and applies it, so no external resistor or manual jumper is required.
