What this module is and where it fits
The Siemens 6ES7157-1AA00-0AB0 is a PROFIBUS DP slave interface module for the ET 200S distributed I/O system. It mounts directly in the field without an additional enclosure, rated IP65/67.
Physical and environmental constraints
The module is 45 mm wide, 159 mm high, and 46 mm deep. Reverse polarity protection is included against destruction. Operates from -30 °C to 55 °C ambient, draws 50 mA from the 24 VDC supply, and dissipates 1.7 W typical. Isolation tested at 707 V DC. Two M12 B-coded ports (PROFIBUS) plus one M8 4-pin shielded ET-Connection. Diagnostic alarm and SYNC/FREEZE capabilities are available.
