DP/DP coupler for two PROFIBUS networks
The 6ES7158-0AD00-0XA0: Runs on 24 VDC, drawing up to 250 mA. The PROFIBUS DP interface runs at up to 12 Mbit/s; connection is via a 9-pin sub D socket. Temperature range covers -20 °C to 80 °C, fanless — the 80 °C ceiling is genuine for fanless operation, so it handles warm cabinet environments without forced air. IP20 enclosure, mounts vertically with the DIP switch at top. Dimensions are 110 x 40 x 70 mm (H/W/D).
Because it's a spare-part code, it's the exact replacement for existing DP/DP couplers in the field — no hardware or wiring changes needed when swapping in.
Mounting & panel fit
Vertical orientation required — DIP switches at top for address setting. The 40 mm width fits standard DIN-rail spacing; allow clearance above for switch access. IP20 means it's intended for a clean, dry enclosure.
