Media converter for ET 200SP
The Siemens 6ES7193-6AG20-0AA0 is a bus adapter for the ET 200SP distributed I/O system, acting as a media converter between fiber optic and copper PROFINET segments. It carries one LC FO port and one RJ45 port, so it bridges a glass-fiber run to a standard copper patch cable at the remote device.
3 km fiber reach, 100BASE-FX
The LC port operates at a wavelength of 1270 to 1380 nm, corresponding to 100BASE-FX, and supports 3 km on multimode graded-index fiber (both 50/125 μm and 62.5/125 μm). That reach covers long plant-floor drops or inter-building links without a repeater. The single RJ45 port connects to the local PROFINET device or switch, making this adapter the transition point where the fiber backbone meets the copper end device. It occupies one slot in the ET 200SP station and draws no separate bus power — the backplane supplies it.
Active, drops into existing ET 200SP racks
Rated for horizontal installation up to 60 °C and vertical up to 50 °C, with a minimum of -30 °C in either orientation. The altitude ceiling is 5000 m, with derating above 2000 m per the system manual.
