The Siemens 6ES7193-6AG50-0AA0 SIMATIC BusAdapter BA 2xLC-LD is the single-mode fiber-optic interface for an ET 200SP station. It carries two LC ports operating at a wavelength of 1 270 to 1 380 nm, corresponding to 100BASE-LX, and supports a maximum segment length of 20 km on 9/125 µm single-mode fiber — 10 km when used in topology or IRT configuration.
PROFINET interface and mounting constraints
The module provides one PROFINET interface with two ports (switch) via the LC-LD connectors. It snaps onto the ET 200SP backplane bus — the 20 mm width and 59 mm depth fit within the standard I/O module footprint, so no extra DIN-rail space is needed beyond the base unit. Temperature limits depend on orientation: horizontal installation allows -30 °C to 60 °C; vertical installation derates the maximum to 50 °C. The altitude ceiling is 5 000 m, with restrictions above 2 000 m per the ET 200SP system manual.
