BusAdapter for copper-to-fiber transition in ET 200SP
The Siemens 6ES7193-6AP40-0AA0 is a BusAdapter for the ET 200SP distributed I/O system, acting as a media converter with one SCRJ fiber optic port and one FastConnect (FC) copper port. It supports PCF distances up to 100 m, PCF-GI up to 250 m, and standard copper conductors up to 100 m. The unit mounts in a standard ET 200SP bus adapter slot, drawing 20 mm width, 69.5 mm height, and 59 mm depth.
Panel fit and mounting
The 20 mm width lets it sit unobtrusively on the DIN rail, leaving room for I/O modules. Operating temperature range depends on orientation: horizontal from -25 °C to 60 °C, vertical from -25 °C to 50 °C. For installations above 2 000 m altitude, check the ET 200SP system manual for derating; the maximum permitted altitude is 5 000 m.
