PROFIBUS DP slave ASIC with on-chip processor kernel
The Siemens 6ES7195-0BE31-0XA0 is the DPC31 Step B ASIC for PROFIBUS DP slave applications. Bus access is handled entirely inside the ASIC, so it implements the complete slave protocol at up to 12 Mbit/s without requiring an external communication coprocessor. Rated from -40 to 85°C, the device fits control cabinets and field enclosures across that thermal span. Supply is 3.3 V DC; typical draw is 50 mA, with a maximum power loss of 0.2 W.
