Programming and logic

The 6ES7211-1AD30-0XB0: Three IEC languages onboard: LAD, FBD, and SCL. Supports forcing and online variable monitoring over all inputs, outputs, memory bits, DBs, timers, and counters. The project stores in EEPROM without battery backup intervention.

PROFINET onboard, no fieldbus surprises

Interface is PROFINET with TCP/IP and server capability. No PROFIBUS, no MODBUS, no AS-Interface, no PROFIsafe. If your network rides on one of those, this isn't the CPU. Autocrossing is supported, so standard patch cables work.

Carries cULus, FM, and CE mark. That's the documentation package for most plant acceptance and equipment declarations.
