Product introduction – SM 1221 16-point digital input module
The 6ES7221-1BH32-0XB0: 16-channel digital input module accepting 24 V DC sink or source signals. It operates from -40 to 70 °C, carries FM, UL, CE, KC, and Marine approvals, and is parameterizable.
Input thresholds and sensor compatibility
Inputs are grouped in four isolated groups, allowing mixed-supply wiring within the same module as long as each group's common is referenced to the same potential.
Certifications and compliance
This module carries cULus, CE, FM, KC, Marine, and CSA approvals, covering North American, European, Korean, and maritime installations. For public tenders or classified-area use (FM), the nameplate markings meet the required safety standards.
