The Siemens 6ES7222-1BH32-1XB0 is a 16-point digital output module for the S7-1200 controller, rated 24 VDC and 0.5 A per channel in current-sinking configuration. Switching times are 20 µs turn-on and 350 µs turn-off, with a typical power draw of 2.5 W. Shielded cable runs up to 500 m are allowed; unshielded to 150 m. Outputs are not internally short-circuit protected — external fusing per group is required. The module requires a front connector (ordered separately).

It carries UL, cULus, CSA, CE, FM, Marine, KC, and RCM approvals. Operating temperature range is -40 to 70 °C; IP20 protection requires panel mounting.
