16-Input safety DI module for S7-1200
The 6ES7226-6BA32-0XB0: Cable runs: shielded up to 200 m, unshielded same length when the input filter is set to 1.6–12.6 ms. For 0.8 ms delay, shielded cable is mandatory. Operates from -40°C to +70°C ambient. At 55°C horizontal, all 16 inputs are usable; derating applies above 40°C vertical (45°C max).
Integration notes
Backplane bus draws 155 mA at 5 V DC; load voltage L+ draws 130 mA plus 6 mA per active input plus any Vs1/Vs2 current. Power loss is 7 W typical. Supply range 20.4–28.8 V DC; no NEC Class 2 required. CE, cULus, and FM approved; SIL documentation available for safety-critical loops.
