Active production, S7-1200 G2 analog front end
The 6ES7231-4HF50-0XB0 is an active-production SM 1231 analog input module from Siemens, part of the S7-1200 G2 family. It provides 8 analog inputs with a 14-bit ADC, configurable for voltage ranges (±10 V, ±5 V, ±2.5 V) or current loops (0–20 mA / 4–20 mA).
Input configuration and field wiring
Each of the 8 channels can be independently set via the engineering software for voltage or current mode.
