The 6ES7231-5PF32-0XB0: RTD and resistance module for the S7-1200 backplane, supporting Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni120, Ni200, Ni500, Ni1000, LG-Ni1000, Cu10, and three resistance ranges (150, 300, 600 Ω). The diagnostic alarm and wire-break detection feed back to the CPU early, so you see a sensor fault before the loop goes dead. Operates from -40 °C to 70 °C ambient with atmospheric pressure from 795 to 1 080 hPa. Approved under cULus, UL, CSA, FM, KC, CE, and Marine, covering the common global panel certifications in one module. Mounts on the standard S7-1200 DIN rail; 70 mm width leaves room for a CPU and two more signal modules in a typical rack.
