Vertical installation derates the top end to 45 °C, horizontal to 55 °C — the figure you want for panel layout is the orientation you'll use. Each output can drive a 600 Ω load on current loops, or a minimum 1 000 Ω impedance on voltage outputs.
Sourcing and compliance — what a buyer needs
The module carries CE, FM (Factory Mutual), and RCM (formerly C-TICK) approvals. That covers most industrial machinery, process control, and Australian/New Zealand installations. IP20 protection means it's for a clean, dry enclosure — no hose-down zones. Power draw is 1.5 W typical from the backplane, plus 45 mA from the 24 V DC sensor supply. What the ratings mean for the technician
