Spare Part for Legacy S7-200 Systems
Power can come through the S7-200 communication cable or an optional external 24 V DC supply. Note that the CPU's sensor supply can't be loaded by the display — use the separate external terminal if the bus power budget is tight. Current draw is 120 mA max.
Integration Notes
Mount in a panel cutout 138 mm wide by 68 mm high, with panel thickness 0.3–4 mm. The shallow 27 mm depth keeps it clear of deeper components. The supplied 2.5 m cable connects directly to the S7-200 CPU's PPI port. Up to 126 nodes can share the network, mixing displays, operator panels, and programming devices. Operating range spans -40 to 70 °C, so it works in unheated cabinets or outdoor-adjacent installations. The IP65 front means it withstands washdown environments — keep the seal intact during installation.
