Text display for the S7-200 line
The Siemens 6ES7272-1BA10-0YA0 is a TD 100C text display dedicated to the SIMATIC S7-200 family. It connects over PPI (PROFIBUS-style RS-485) and draws its 24 V supply directly from the CPU communication interface, max 50 mA. The reflecting LC display shows four lines of up to 12 characters (or 8 Chinese characters per line) with a character height of 3.34 mm. Front face is rated IP65 once mounted in a panel cutout of 82 × 69.5 mm.
Mounts into a rectangular cutout 82 mm wide by 69.5 mm high, accepting panel thickness from 1.5 to 4 mm. Overall depth is 36 mm (44 mm with cable fittings), body width 90 mm, height 76 mm. The reflective display needs ambient light – no backlight, so avoid dark enclosure interiors without supplementary illumination.
Environmental stretch
Rated for -20 to 70 °C ambient, covering most cabinet conditions from cold outdoor kiosks to hot panel interiors. Keep the front gasket clean to maintain the IP65 seal.
