The 6ES7292-2AM40-0XA0: This spare I/O terminal block mates with the output side of S7-1200 CPUs 1214C and 1215C. The push-in design accepts solid or ferruled stranded wire without a screwdriver — strip to 8 mm, insert, done. Tin coating on the contact fingers resists corrosion in humid panel environments, a common upgrade over standard nickel plating. Each block carries 12 pins; the pack of four covers a full CPU output channel bank. The right-coded keying prevents accidental insertion into the wrong position, so there's no risk of swapping input and output blocks during replacement.
