This is the Siemens SITOP power supply 6ES7305-1BA80-0AA0 — a 24 V DC, 2 A output module that rides the S7-300 rail. It accepts a wide DC input from 16.8 to 138 V and delivers 2 A continuously, with a rated range of 0 to 3 A (derated above 60°C and when input exceeds 24 V). The unit is IP20, mounts with 50 mm clearance top and bottom, zero side clearance required — no ventilation gap left or right.
Lifecycle marked eol_hot: discontinued by Siemens, no new orders. Sourcing via surplus channel only.
Mounts on the S7-300 DIN rail via the standard SITOP adapter (order 6ES7390-6BA00-0AA0). Physical envelope: 80 mm wide, 125 mm high, 120 mm deep. Top and bottom clearances must be at least 50 mm for convection; side clearance can be zero. The output uses three screw terminals per pole (L+, M) for 0.5–2.5 mm² wire; input uses one screw terminal each for L+, M, and PE. A T 6.3 A/250 V internal fuse is not user-accessible. The recommended feeder breaker is a 10 A miniature circuit breaker, C characteristic, DC-rated.
Approvals cover industrial control panels in both North America and Europe: UL 508 listed (File E143289), CSA C22.2 No. 142, CE, and EAC. The output is galvanically isolated with safety extra-low voltage (SELV) per EN 60950-1 and EN 50178, creepage and clearance exceeding 5 mm. Operating temperature is –25 to +70 °C with natural convection; storage/transport range –40 to +85 °C. The unit is not ATEX, IECEx, or FM approved, and not NEC Class 2 rated.
