The Siemens 6ES7312-1AE13-0AB0 is a SIMATIC S7-300 CPU module with 8 KB program memory (FM 8) and support for multiple programming languages including FBD, LAD, SCL, STL, GRAPH, and HiGraph. It handles up to 64 digital inputs and 64 outputs, with MPI and RS 485 connectivity. No PROFIsafe support. The command set supports forcing and retentive memory bits, but the retentive memory must be reloaded at each restart. The onboard 0.5 A²·s I²t rating applies to the integrated 24 V DC power supply.
