What the ratings mean for fit
The 6ES7322-1BF01-0AA0: Each of the 8 outputs delivers a rated current of 2 A at 24 V DC, with no derating up to 60 °C (both 40 °C and 60 °C limits show 4 A total per module, so per-channel current is consistent). The module draws 6.8 W typ from the backplane bus (5 V DC max 40 mA). Isolation between channels, in groups of 4, is tested at 500 V DC. Switching frequency depends on load: 100 Hz with resistive loads, 0.5 Hz with inductive loads, and 10 Hz with lamp loads. The electronic short-circuit protection trips at a typical threshold of 3 A, clearing faster than a gG fuse. Response threshold typ 3 A, electronic protection, not fuse-blown alarm.
