The Siemens 6ES7322-1BP50-0AA0 is a 64-channel digital output module for the S7-300 family, switching 24 V DC loads at a rated 0.3 A per channel. Production has ended (EOL), so any BOM line using this part now routes through independent supply channels.
Ratings that decide fit
Each output is rated 0.3 A at 24 V. The total module current is capped at 1.6 A, derating to 1.2 A as temperature increases. Electronic short-circuit protection is built in, but without diagnostic alarms on the module, a downstream fuse or sensor-level monitoring is your only fault indicator. Switching speed matters for the load type. Resistive loads can cycle at 100 Hz, inductive loads only at 0.5 Hz, and lamp loads at 10 Hz. If you're driving contactors or solenoids, stay below 0.5 Hz or add suppression.
Panel fit and wiring
Unshielded sensor cable runs up to 600 m; shielded runs up to 1 000 m. Isolation tested at 500 V DC between channels and backplane.
