32-channel 120V AC output for S7-300 racks

The Siemens 6ES7322-1EL00-0AA0 is a 32-channel digital output module for the S7-300 platform, switching 120 V AC loads at up to 3 A per channel at 60 °C. It requires a 20-pin front connector and draws 100 mA from the 5 V DC backplane bus plus up to 275 mA from the load voltage.

Output ratings and switching limits

Each channel is rated for resistive loads at 10 Hz maximum switching frequency and inductive loads at 0.5 Hz. The minimum load current for a reliable signal "1" is 10 mA, and the residual current in the off state is limited to 3 mA. Short-circuit protection is provided by an internal fuse, with a red LED indicator for a blown fuse. The module provides optocoupler isolation between channels and the backplane bus, with groups of 8 channels sharing a common isolation barrier. Isolation is tested at 1 500 V AC. The permissible AC load voltage range is 93 V to 132 V.
