The Siemens 6ES7322-1FF01-0AA0 is an 8-channel digital output module for the SIMATIC S7-300 family, delivering 2 A per output at a rated load voltage of 120/230 V AC. Each group of outputs is protected by a field-replaceable 8 A, 250 V fuse, and the module signals a blown fuse or missing load voltage via the backplane diagnostics.
AC switching with zero-cross and diagnostics
The outputs switch resistive loads up to 10 Hz and inductive loads up to 0.5 Hz, with a maximum response time of 300 ms. A zero-crossing switch circuit (up to 60 V) reduces contact wear when switching AC loads. Diagnostics are limited to a group error SF (red) LED and a fuse-OK FSG (green) LED per channel group. The module detects a blown fuse or missing load voltage but does not report wire-break or short-circuit conditions. The module draws a maximum of 100 mA from the 5 V DC backplane bus and dissipates 8.6 W typ under full load. It requires a 20-pin front connector (sold separately) and occupies 40 mm width on the S7-300 DIN rail.
