32 outputs at 1 A, 120/230 V AC — what it handles in the panel
The Siemens 6ES7322-1FL00-0AA0 is a 32-channel digital output module for the S7-300 family, rated 1 A per channel at 120/230 V AC. Each output switches the full AC line voltage — 79 V to 264 V AC, 47 Hz minimum — with zero-crossing switching up to 60 V to reduce inrush stress on lamp loads. The module draws 190 mA from the 5 V DC backplane bus and dissipates 25 W typ under full load. It requires a 20-pin front connector; the 80 mm width occupies one S7-300 slot.
Current derating, diagnostics, and channel isolation
Rated 4 A per channel up to 40 °C, derated to 3 A per channel at 60 °C. The minimum load current per output is 10 mA; residual current in the off state is max 2 mA. Diagnostics report fuse-blown or missing load voltage, with a group-error SF (red) indicator and per-channel green status LEDs. Channels are isolated from the backplane bus via optocoupler and tested at 4 000 V DC. Channel-to-channel isolation is grouped in blocks of 8. Maximum switching frequency is 10 Hz on resistive load, 0.5 Hz on inductive load, and 1 Hz on lamp load. The module supports redundant control of a load when both outputs belong to the same group.
