Diagnostics and protection that save field wiring time
This module reports diagnostic alarms channel by channel, so when a valve solenoid or contactor coil fails, the PLC knows exactly which output dropped. It also detects wire-break and missing load voltage, which on a refrigeration line means you catch a failed heater or unpowered defrost valve before the evaporator ices up. Short-circuit protection is electronic and per-channel, so a shorted field device does not take down the whole group of 8 outputs. The inductive shutdown voltage is clamped to L+ (-45 V), which limits the back-EMF spike when switching relay or contactor coils.
