Pt100 & Type K thermocouple on one module
The 6ES7331-7KB02-0AB0 is an 8-channel analog input module for the S7-300 rack that accepts Pt100 RTD and Type K thermocouple inputs on the same module, along with voltage ranges from -10 V to +10 V and 1 V to 5 V, and current ranges including 4 to 20 mA and 0 to 20 mA. It does not support Cu 10 RTD inputs, which means if your loop uses copper RTDs, this module will not read them directly.
Mixed-signal flexibility on the backplane
The module handles thermocouple types E, J, K, and N, plus Pt100 and Ni100 RTDs, voltage inputs in four ranges, and current inputs in two ranges, so a single slot can serve temperature, pressure, and flow loops without a separate signal conditioner. Resistance measurement covers 0 to 150 ohms, 0 to 300 ohms, and 0 to 600 ohms, which covers most industrial RTD and potentiometer feedback applications.
DIN-rail footprint and sourcing
The module occupies a single S7-300 slot at 40 mm wide, 125 mm tall, and 120 mm deep, fitting the standard DIN-rail mounting pattern.
