Mounts a single S7-300 width (40 mm) on the DIN rail. Requires a 20-pin front connector (not included) for field wiring. Shielded cable run is limited to 200 m for 4-20 mA loops; exceeds that spec and signal integrity drops. Input resistance is 50 Ω on both 0–20 mA and 4–20 mA ranges. Wire-break detection and group error (SF red LED) are built in. The module is reverse-polarity protected and electrically isolated between channels and backplane bus. Maximum no-load voltage (Uo) is 25.2 V, short-circuit current (Io) is 68.5 mA, and permissible external capacitance (Co) is 90 nF — stay within these limits for the Ex(i) entity parameters.
