End-of-life HART analog output for ET200M
The 6ES7332-8TF01-0AB0 is a Siemens SM 332 HART analog output module with 8 channels, each configurable for 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA, designed for the ET200M distributed I/O system with an IM 153-2 interface module.
No stock-holding claim is made; the part is sourced per RFQ.
The 8 analog outputs support 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA current loops, with a maximum load of 750 Ω per output and a no-load voltage of 24 V. This means the module can drive standard 2-wire transmitters and valve positioners within that loop resistance budget. Resolution is 16 bits including sign, with a basic execution time of 10 ms in standard AO mode or 50 ms in HART-AO mode. The module requires a 20-pin front connector and draws 110 mA from the 5 V DC backplane bus plus up to 350 mA from the 24 V DC load supply. The 6 W typical power loss must be considered in the enclosure thermal budget. Galvanic isolation is tested at 500 V DC between the channels and the backplane bus, and between the channels and the load voltage L+. This isolation protects the backplane and upstream controller from field-side faults.
Deployment context
This module mounts in an ET200M station with an IM 153-2 interface module, occupying one slot in the rack. The 40 mm width and 125 mm height fit the standard form factor for panel integration.
