The 6ES7354-1AH01-0AE0: It reads incremental encoder feedback on 5 V difference signals (A, notA, B, notB) up to 1 MHz, and also supports SSI absolute encoders for position retention after power-off. On the I/O side: four digital inputs and four digital outputs, isolated via optocoupler, with maximum output current 300 mA and switching capacity up to 30 VA. The module requires both a 5 V supply (for the encoder interface) and a 24 V DC rated supply for the I/O and logic; power loss is typically 8 W.
