The Siemens 6ES7360-3AA01-0AA0 is the SIMATIC S7-300 Connection IM 360, the interface module that sits in the central rack and drives the C-bus to up to three expansion racks. It draws 350 mA from the 5 V DC backplane bus — a fixed load that must be budgeted in the central rack's power supply capacity before adding I/O modules. Only one IM 360 is allowed per CPU, so the expansion architecture is capped at one central rack plus three expansion racks per S7-300 station.
